Gemma Massey

Science Tutor

Gemma studied for her GCSEs at Ormiston Ilkeston Enterprise Academy securing A's in all three sciences. She then studied Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-level at Kirk Hallam Sixth form.

Gemma went on to study a Masters in Biochemistry at the University of Nottingham, achieving a 2.1. During this time, she worked part-time and was actively involved in volunteering for St John Ambulance.

Gemma completed her PGCE through a Nottingham school alongside Sheffield Hallam University. She continued to volunteer for St John ambulance and progressed to take on the role of Unit manager at her unit. Gemma now works as KS3 science lead at a secondary school in Nottingham that has an outstanding Sixth Form.
